Use appropriate professional care
Consult a qualified medical or veterinary professional about pain, injury, changes in movement, trauma, or other health concerns. Seek urgent professional help when a person or animal may be in immediate danger.
Respect comfort and consent
Hands-on educational practices should remain gentle and stop when they cause pain, distress, fear, or resistance. Animal handlers remain responsible for their dog’s welfare and for obtaining veterinary guidance when needed.

NSRP’s Christian teaching offers a spiritual framework for reflection and rest. Spiritual practices should not be represented as guaranteed health outcomes.
